PAST EVENTS:
Paper Shredding – We hosted our annual Paper Shredding event on September 19, 2023 in the evening. Thank you to everyone who came out and donated to our local food banks! Again, we were able to provide to those in need in our community.
Pick up Lehman Litter Cleanup Event – This event was held between April 29 and May 21, 2023. Supplies were available at no cost including gloves, vests and trash bags. Thank you to all who came out to make our township beautiful and clean up!
Community Angels for Veterans Collection Drive – This collection will run from now until December 22, 2022. Residents and community members can participate by donating any “wish list” items on the flier below. Lehman Township will have a collection bin at the municipal office starting Tuesday, October 25. Community Angels will distribute donations to local Veterans around the holiday season.
Paper Shredding – November 12, 2022 9am – Noon at the Lehman Township Municipal Offices.*Thanks to everyone who came out to shred their personal documents! We were able to provide 3 boxes of food to our local food banks and we received much interest and donations for the Veteran’s Drive! We appreciate you so much!
Tire Recycling Collection Event – This FREE event was held on October 1, 2022 & October 8, 2022 sponsored by the Luzerne County Recycling Office and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
Electronic Recycling – The event was held August 27, 2022 from 10am – 2pm at the DAMA Compost Facility on Route 118 in Lehman Township.
Tire Recycling Collection Event – October 2021, Luzerne County residents took advantage of the FREE event through the Luzerne County Recycling Office and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
Electronic Recycling – June 26, 2021 from 10am – 2pm at the DAMA Compost Facility on Route 118 in Lehman Township.
Pick Up Lehman Litter Clean Up Event – April 17, 2021 – Material Pick-up at 9:30 in front of Municipal Offices. * Thanks to our volunteers, we were able to remove about a 1/2 TON of garbage from our roadsides! We are so grateful to have you all in this community.
