2026 Garden Sign Ups are now LIVE!
We are looking forward to another successful season at the Pollinator Garden! Please use the below links to sign up for a donation or volunteer for a time slot to weed, water & keep the gardens in good health!
REMEMBER: Our gardens are for everyone to enjoy. We enjoy looking at the garden additions (potted flowers, cement stepping stones, garden picks)! Please come and check it out!

Donation Sign ups – need on/before June 20, 2026 (feel free to drop any donations at the garden before our planting day if you do not plan to attend).
Volunteer Sign ups – Available slots all through the summer. Times are not set in stone – if you can volunteer on a Tuesday but the sign up says Thursday, please just let Chrisandra know! Sign up dates are just spread out so we don’t have a huge span of time without any upkeep.
How it started!!!!
In August of 2021, we were graciously awarded the Healing the Planet Grant in the amount of $2,500 from Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful and the GIANT Company. We are excited to begin building safe havens and gardens to assist bees and butterflies in our area. The gardens have been placed on our property next to the Back Mountain Food Pantry Gardens.
With the help of our community, we believe this project will have long-lasting positive effects on our immediate area.
We need to take a moment to thank the WONDERFUL, Janet McCarroll, for almost single handedly keeping our garden alive and THRIVING the entire 2022 season. She visited the garden multiple times a week and did an amazing job keeping it fed, watered and weeded. It was not an easy job! If you see Janet around, please thank her!
